Musical Theatre

Position

I come from a long line of female choreographers and directors who have used the theatrical stage to tell meaningful stories. I will continue to fight for marginalized voices to be heard and understood, utilizing the arts as an empathetic tool to change hearts and minds.

Purpose

My greatest desire is to help train the next generation of world changers by bringing knowledge and skills to young theatremakers and artists. I choose projects that have strong, intentional narratives, and work with performers who recognize the weight these stories carry.

Practice

Bodies talk, and the movement we engage in onstage is an important informant into each character’s world. It is my desire to manifest a unique, interesting movement vocabulary for each performer that fits into the overall aesthetic of the production.
