Teaching

Style

My teaching style is fast paced and high energy. Classes focus on both technique and performance, and allow each dancer to find their unique artistic voice. I value participation and integration in the classroom, and am intentional about understanding and meeting the needs of every student who walks through my door, to the best of my ability.

Philosophy

I view every interaction with students as a creative and collaborative endeavor. Each student is uniquely designed, and holds individual potential that implores the instructor to recognize and cultivate. My approach to teaching recognizes each student’s distinctive learning style and guides me in structuring information and delivery in such a way as to allow for recognition and improvement in each student I work alongside

Experience

I have taught dance to students ages 18 months to senior adults. My experience includes higher education, studios, high school, preschool, summer programming, and large masterclasses.
